Individuals should apply for Shenzhen Police Certificate at Shenzhen Municipal Administrative Service Hall, then apply to the notary office for a certificate based on the document issued at the Shenzhen Municipal Administrative Service Hall. Applicants with no criminal record will be able to obtain a certificate to that effect. Certificates for individuals with one or more criminal convictions will list all convictions for which records still exist.
Foreigners who ever worked, studied, or lived in Shenzhen for more than 6 months will be required to provide Shenzhen Police Clearance Certificate/Non-Criminal Record Certificate when applying for a work visa, student visa, permanent residence, or immigration to other countries.
Some countries require the China Police Certificate to be issued within 6 months.The notarial certificate of the China Police Certificate does not show the expiry date, only the issue date can be found.
